“For the Children”
For the Children, For the Holidays,For Charity was exactely the theme of the foundation “ForYouForMe” this year.
Founded by a 26 year old New York Born Teacher and Humanitarian living in Berlin. Michael Usher along with his team set out to create a gift T-shirt that will be sold at Holly’s, A Modest fashion shop in Berlin Mitte. The focus of the gift T-shirt is to show someone in your life that you care and help bond your love with a reminding symbol, and in doing so with every purchase you help to raise money for a worthy cause.
This season “ForYouForMe” chose to team up with a community focused organization, Diakoniegemenschaft Bethania, that has been in the Meobit community for 26 years supporting children in need.One of the projects “Huttenkids”were on the brink of closing it’s doors to the children this year.
Michael Usher and Rioa Patan a recent Masters Graduate in Economics made the decision to step in and support the project and more importantly uplift the children during the holiday season and give them something to look forward to by rewarding them with a holiday event and gifts for the hard work and effort they put in to prepare their yearly holiday play for us.
